I thought this was a good incorporation of material that was in the novel (the NO angle). Fearnet has all the episodes combined into one which is 23 minutes long. Much easier to watch and enjoy. Hope hulu gets it soon and the sequel "Dust to Dust" (takes place after the movie).

Yes, Blood Trails is a prequel to the movie 30 Days of Night. But it also assumes you have some knowledge of the 30 Days world outside of what was in the movie. With these two things in mind, this is a great mini-series. The format is weird and annoying to be sure, but even so in each 3 or 4 minute installment there is still plenty of suspense and blood. The only thing missing is the eerie quietness of the movie, but considering the location of the mini-series it is probably a good thing it has a slightly different feel.

Long opening sequences and title credits, followed by a few minutes of the story, followed by a teaser of the next episode- over and over and over. God awful. Impossible to follow. Someone should edit all seven episodes together into ONE clip. Until then, it's worthless.

THAT IS THE ONLY THING THAT BOTHERS ME ABOUT THE MOVIE, WHERE DID THEY COME FROM?... SO THIS PROMO IS THE SAME THING WHERE DID THEY COME FROM...? ALL IN ALL THE ACTING WAS ALRIGHT, THE EFFECTS WERE GOOD BUT THE WAY THEY LINKED UP THIS UP TO THE MOVIE WAS RETARDED WHY WOULD IT BE ON A DISK FOR SOME ONE TO FIND AND HOW DID THEY GET IT?...WHY DIDNT THEY JUST EMAIL EACH OTHER THE LOCATION...WHAT VAMPIRES CANT AFFORD INTERNET???
