Seth MacFarlane is a mastermind in his own right. Not only is Family Guy a hilarious adult "pop-culture" comedy which really relates to us thirtysomethings but now he's got American Dad which reaches out to the same demographic without skipping a beat. I could sit and watch either series and be content with my choice.

Hayley's 13-year-old brother is the hapless, geeky Steve (Scott Grimes), a kid who seems to be on the verge of puberty, but can't quite make it past the squeaky awkwardness. The Smith household is rounded out by two rather unconventional members.
