Wow, it's great that Hulu.com has added B5 to the lineup. This brilliant show is basically one huge telenovel, with 121 "chapters". The creator, J. Michael Stracynzski, wrote almost all the episodes, giving the show unparalleled continuity and flow. Almost every episode is required watching to get the whole arc. This is one of the finest shows I've ever watched. The themes are powerful and still resonate with me today.
For new fans, please stick it out through Season One. It's the clunkiest season and frankly the acting and production values are a bit lacking. Still, it's critical for setting up the following amazing seasons. When I watched the show through a second time, S1 blew me away, because I could see all the major arcs that it established and the character traits that would be so crucial in later seasons.
