Placing bets on the classic Shake Hands Man and Lady One Question totally fail as web clips because you can guesstimate a good time based on how long the clips are :(

You're both wrong: the show has been shown late at night on both G4 here in the states and on Channel4/E4 and Challenge TV in its native Britain. City TV in Canada shows it at midnight.
Furthermore, Fox didn't make the show for it to be a "classy move", it was made by an independent production company for Channel 4 - Fox merely bought the rights to the show, which had already been around for 2 years or more at the time, and redubbed American placenames into it. And since the show features a cast of people like veteran actor Burt Kwouk, Eiji Kusuhara, Tadao Tomomatsu, Masashi Fujimoto and Jit Loi Chong, all of whom were very aware of the show's content and style, I'm not sure the 'racist' argument holds water. Come on, guys. It's the internet! There's just no excuse for an un-researched argument anymore. Was this review helpful?

what incredible nonsense. there are plenty of crazy!, strange!, foreign! television shows out there to laugh at. to - apparently - make one up and fill it with the most stereotypically broken english and racist fallbacks? yet another classy move by the fox network.

this was never on late night. This was a prime time show by fox trying to hit it big on the same market.
This show was one of the early shows like this on prime time (now there is Wipeout). Was this review helpful?
