Cheesy writing, Nice premise that gets thrown in the toilet by unfinished ideas and implausible situations. An admiral on a rescue mission? Even Star Trek doesn't let that happen. Another movie that ignores the horror and doesn't even make you feel anything for those poor people. Owen Wilson is the worst actor in the world. Why does he still get scripts? And to Gene Hackman: Say no once in a while when offered such a disgraceful script. More than thumbs down - Thumbs cut off!!!!
