I don't dislike either candidate - in fact McCain is one of my favorite Republicans. However, Obama has a solid way about him that transcends a lot of boundaries and his personality is very articulate, stern and friendly at the same time. This counts for a LOT when dealing with others, especially on the world stage, which is the root of where most of USA's current problems come from.
I can give credit to McCain for being able to answer most questions with some level-headedness, especially considering his age, but all-in-all he is just not presidential material.
On the point about 'experience' - our daily exposure to the world has shifted to an entirely different and absurdly more rapid pace than before the turn of this century. I would bet that most 20 year olds (at least the politically inclined ones) have more knowledge of world affairs than anybody even so much as had access to 20 years ago. Experience is defined by more than just 'years' - experience should really be judged by exposure.
I just hope people clear out the fog of the past and make some wise decisions about the present and especially the future.
