OMG I remember watching this as a kid and thinking the very last part SPOILER!!! where they blow up the monster was soooooo cool.
OMG this movie is so corny. Isn't the blond dude who was all about the "tunes" from Karate Kid? Was this review helpful?

when the investor guy is toalking to the blonde chick when they walk out of the theater on the walls all the girls boobs are showing at 38:52-39:00

Far from "Hollywood"...
...but far from a waste of time. This movie goes back to a time before CG and proves that you don't need flashy effects to have a good time. While falling into the "horror" genre as a whole, you won't find much to be offended by here. The gore is minimal and typically suggested rather than shown. The antics of the creatures involved, the "Ghoulies," is also often laughable at times. Overall, this is a well-rounded movie, and a good way to spend some time.
