FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY..

There is a show about life in a superhero comic book. Yes I admit the second season wasnt that great but get over it people. You want to criticize the show out of existence or wait and hope things get better? Its a great show with great charecters. I love that finally the villains have united. Its time for the heroes. But like a REALLY good comic book, you never know who the true villains or heroes are. Its ver reminiscent of X-Men. Not the movies the comic books. Im waiting for the climactic battle. I hope and pray that its something better than what we have seen in the movie theaters lately. Give HEROES a real chance and stop judging it. Otherwise, you will be crying later about how there are NO tv shows with a comic book format

Rating starRating starRating starRating starRating star I'm hopelessly addicted to Heroes
This is both a good and bad thing-- because if there is any more weak sauce from the Heroes writers, I will still be addicted and it'll be a good thing if all this set up is building up to an awesome season because then I get a payoff for my emotional investment. Season 1 was good and it's too bad that the Writers' Strike messed up so much of Season 2-- I wish that they didn't try such a blatant wiping of the slate with Season 3 though as I get the feeling most of the bad feelings is due to the unresolved storylines left hanging from Season 2. The retcon attempted here needs to be backed up-- I am unlike some of the Heroes fan in that I don't like the myriad storylines, huge casts and plotholes that is a staple of comic book universes and I find that this season might be too unduly influenced by comics. Not to knock on comics but they are hardly executed well-- I'm hoping that Heroes will know to take the best of things to be found from comic books and leave out the crappy out. Everyone knows of Superman who battles super-villains but hardly anyone remembers that he started out battling everyday petty crooks and daily life before it was decided that he need to save the entire world and not just the day. So Heroes needs to get back to its roots or else make up for the sprawling storylines with sheer epic-ness.

But so far, this show hasn't jumped the shark and I'm hoping that it will fulfill the promise that it has shown.

Rating starRating starRating starRating starRating star First season is the key, the rest are franchises built on the first season's success
I think the writers did a great job in the first season. Then, it became popular so they started adding new cast members who wanted to be in this hit show. So, they kept adding story lines, making pretty much everyone have super powers. The characters who die keep coming back with some far fetched story of why and how they did not die. And, if you cannot bring the character back what do you do? Why, there is the good old flashback! So, we now get flash backs all the time, "how it all began", "why did this happen", etc. Now, this has started getting really out of control. I wonder if there really is a story line that is being followed. It seems to me like a franchise which is being stretched beyond its point of success. It is sad to see a great show with a great story and cast now starting to degenerate into chaos. This seems to follow the trend with any TV show once it gains popularity. Another example of what happened to "Lost".

To be Continued.. .
I think the "To Be Continued" thing that they did with heroes was my breaking point. Then when things couldn't get any worse, the writers strike hit. That just made me sooooo ticked off that I decided not to watch the show any more. By the time I finished waiting for it to come back on I lost interest. I wonder if it is in the top shows now? Because when I got hooked on it before, it had great reviews. I thought it was the best show ever since Buffy because it was so diverse and full of action. Before the strike and the to be continued thing I would of given this show five stars. Because it was awesome!
