I loved Season 1 and couldn't wait for the new one to start. This opener does not disappoint! You aren't spoon-fed answers to the open questions from Season 1, but it's incredibly satisfying that the second season promises just as much drama and intrigue as the first.

PS: If you haven't seen Season 1, don't worry. The Season 2 premier, though it doesn't provide the "Previously, on Season 1" intro, will make you feel right at home immediately -- as much as you can feel at home in 1962. The season starts on Valentine's Day 1962, about a year and a half after the end of Season 1 and it feels like a fresh start rather than an episode that picks up the threads where they were left at the end of the last season. Oh, and by the way, if you haven't seen Season 1 and want to avoid "spoilers," this is the episode for you. Very few of the previous season's plots and twists are mentioned.

Hulu, thank you!

Mad Men is by far the best thing on television right now. Great drama with three-dimensional characters, who have story arcs that you could follow into the horizon. The people giving this show a bad review are sorely mistaken about their understanding of it. The writing is so good, the actors are wonderful (as are the characters they play). I can't say enough good things about this show.

I get it that Season 2 starts 15 months later, in 1962 -- the Jackie Kennedy TV tour of the White House being the giveaway -- but before that Pete and his cronies talk about Peggy dropping weight suddenly at a "fat farm." Sounds like a discussion they would have had in February 1961, not '62
