Fantastic, classic movie
I can't say much -- it was that good. The music was very enjoyable, and memorable. It was highly suspensful, and unlike movies of today, did not need special effects to portray a sense of grandeur.

Not a very good movie
I watched it all the way through so I could say I've seen the whole thing. I'm sorry it wasn't better. This movie is nothing like other Crichtons, not that that matters (just don't expect it to be). It isn't nearly as interesting or entertaining as his other stories. It's mostly plot driven, and the plot isn't very creative. Sean Connery played his standard cheeseball character. Donald Sutherland's character was a nimrod. The humor was popsicle-stick-joke funny, at best. The directing was poor. The cinematography and lighting (camera lenses?) were terrible. Someone said this movie was unpredictable, but I would say it was one of the most predictable movies I've ever seen.

The whole thing comes across as relatively simple minded, which surprised me since it is afterall Michael Crichton (very sad that he just died at 66).

BTW, what's with all those old men leaning on ropes in the room that the little willie character runs through?

Good Fun Movie!
I rather enjoyed this movie, even though at times it seemed a bit lengthy. All in all, it was a fun movie to watch. The acting was great, and the story was good. I would actually watch it again...just for kicks! Good clean movie that everyone can enjoy!
