S20E7 "Mypods and Boomsticks"--that was ridiculous...
I have loved the Simpsons since I was about 4 years old, however, as the seasons try to keep up, it has lost its touch with the family values, clever jokes, and what made it become so great.
I think the worst is that Homer Simpson is only seen as stupid, which the older episodes highlighted yet still showed him as a loving and caring father/husband and human. Or at least, someone the audience can somewhat relate to.
What happened to the episodes like: when Lisa called him a baffoon, or when they got Santa's Little Helper, when Lisa turned into a vegetarian, when Homer ate chili and went on a journey walk, Tree House of Horror, etc.
