Ughhh she can't act her way out of a paper bag and she is hard on the eyes. I can't stand anything she's in. She just takes a movie down.

If they showed this in schools, I guarantee nobody would ever do any hard drugs...marijuana I promote, but nothing else. The end is brutal because its a montage of ruined lives. 5 ...

i recommend every addict recovering no matter how long they have been sober to watch it becuase it will bring more memries about WHY YOU DO NOT WANT TO GO BACK ...

One of the most scariest movies I have EVER seen...
This movie really knows how to get to you... Even if you've smoked a little weed before this movie will scare you never to do it again...wow. Very powerful and true straight to the core. You can really lose control once you take drugs or even abuse prescribed ones.
You have to be prepaired to watch this movie... Was this review helpful?

Be emotionally prepared to watch this!
I've seen this movie twice and I was actually a little frightened to watch it again because I knew what I was in for but it really is an amazing movie. So engrossing. It takes an emotional toll to watch but it's the feeling this movie gives you that I feel is necessary to see into a true addict. An addict will, in fact, lose their arm before realizing they've gone too far. They will be put behind bars and they will prostitute themselves in the physical right and every other right. This movie will blow you away......and you'll be scared to watch it ever again.

Another D.A. Masterpiece
Stunning artistic direction, Engrossing plot, Near-perfect music... overall this is one of the few movies that can relate to almost any age, race, or any other demographic. The nature of pain, addiction, love, desire, and strife are portrayed in almost every scene.
After about 5-6 plays the music can get to be a littttttle bit overdone at times. Was this review helpful?

Requiem for a Dream
.....I forgot how dark and disturbing this movie was. I honestly feel that this movie gave a true to life representation of the raise and fall a person can be subjected to due to addiction.
