Burnt Hand

I just love how the second after Ramsay burns his hand for the second time he claps them together to tell everybody to hurry up without even blinking.

To badartdog

You do know that shows are edited and parts are often switched around, right? All shows ( even reality shows ) do this. A show is rarely seen filmed in the order in which is it viewed.

Ramsay could of very well showed Christina the sizzling pan handle before putting his burnt hand under the running water.

Plus, the pan looks to be either copper or metal and both can stay hot minutes after being removed from the flame.

It is hard to review this show

As Badartdog pointed out, this show is largely contrived to fit a desired outcome. Things are highly exaggerated and setup for dramatic purposes. How can someone give a fair review when they are shown a deceptive scenario? Even with Ramsay getting burned, he specifically said that if Christina burned him a second time she was out, she did, and she was not out. As for the HANDLE being so hot that water sizzled on it - the only way for a handle to get that hot is if it were in direct flame such as with a torch. Also, Jen said she could smell Ramsay's flesh burning - again baloney - a fraction of a second contact is not going to char the skin. Assuming that Ramsay was burned, what is with the high-fives? Also, these people are not doing fine dining. The menu is extremely limited and they are cranking out dishes like short order cooks. Also again... Ramsay is supposedly the expert, and his trademark is to severely criticize and abuse his staff. If he is after an executive chef, shouldn't he be looking for someone who shares those qualities?
