It tries too hard to pull together a decent plot, not touched on before the by X-files. It tries too hard to pull these actors, into dwindling, horribly written plots. It uses too much drama and cheesy humor to cover up otherwise simple and mundane plots. I guess each week when Joshua Jackson's character decides whether he wants to be there or not, he's not the only one.
